American actress and media personality Amanda Seales has claimed that the assassination attempt on former US President and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was staged. According to the Associated Press, gunshots at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania resulted in two deaths and the former president being rushed off stage by security.
The FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the individual involved in the assassination attempt. However, Seales cast doubt on the authenticity of the event, expressing her skepticism in a video on social media. She insisted the incident was staged, noting that the gunshots didn’t sound genuine.
In her video, Seales compared the event to a Tyler Perry production, emphasizing that real gunshots don’t sound like “making popcorn on the stove.” She questioned the source of the bullet and mentioned the use of blood capsules in theater and movies to create fake blood effects. Seales also pointed out that Trump’s reaction seemed inconsistent with a genuine assassination attempt.
