Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has shared reflections on personal and professional decisions he now wishes he had handled differently.
The music icon made the revelation during a candid conversation on the Mic On podcast, where he spoke openly about lessons learned from challenging moments in his life and career.
The father of six explained that some situations, especially those influenced by emotional stress, could have been approached in a better way.

Revisiting a widely reported incident in London involving a dispute with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, which led to his arrest in October 2025, 2Baba took responsibility for his actions, acknowledging that anger drove his behavior.
“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he admitted.
He added that balancing personal challenges with a public life has been difficult, and that these experiences have prompted him to rethink how he manages conflict and pressure.
“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick-skin is weaker now,” he said, highlighting his awareness of how emotional strain can cloud judgment.
2Baba noted that these moments have made him more reflective and conscious of accountability, emotional control, and personal growth.
“These experiences have taught me valuable lessons about handling myself better and learning from mistakes,” he added.
His revelations offer a glimpse into the challenges of navigating fame while managing personal life, underscoring the human side of a music legend known for his iconic hits.
