Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed her plans to expand her family and shared insights from a previous high-profile relationship.
In a recent interview with US podcaster Joe Budden, posted on X on Monday, the Afrobeats star disclosed that she hopes to have more children, specifically boys, and has taken proactive measures by freezing her eggs.
“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” Tiwa said.
The mother of one also reflected on a past romance with a well-known ex, widely assumed to be Wizkid. She described how her former partner was reluctant to make their relationship public and continued to flirt with other women—a behavior she found disrespectful.
“You knew the girl. No, it’s a disrespect. Like, like, you know, like, I’m, I’m a public figure and he is as well. He did this thing where he’s just like, I don’t want us to go public because I don’t want people to know and all that kind of stuff. So I’m like, okay, cool. Then it was like, okay, when we go out, I might be talking to other people, but I’m just doing it so people don’t suspect. And it was like, okay, but how far are you going with this? He got that one off, he had it good. We might be in the same event and he’s… Working the room. Yeah, like, probably like talking, rubbing, like, like, and I’m there and he’s in, you know, he’s still looking at me like, I’m just doing it. And I can’t say nothing. And it’s in front of me,” she explained.
