Nigerian hip-hop icon Jude Abaga, widely known as M.I, has spoken candidly about the crucial role his wife, Eniola Mafe, plays in his life and career.

During an appearance on the Outside The Box podcast, M.I described Eniola as “the most supportive person,” emphasizing how she has contributed to his growth on multiple levels, both emotionally and financially.

“My wife is the most supportive person.. When I started trying to raise money for my company – TASCK, she was the first person that gave me a cheque,” he said, highlighting her early support in his entrepreneurial ventures.

He also noted that her encouragement extends to his music projects.

“She also supports my music-making process. She filmed many of my clips online. She is always supportive,” M.I shared.

The rapper went further, revealing that Eniola often helps in ways he doesn’t expect, sometimes even before he realizes he needs it.

“A lot of things I even tell her that I don’t need her advice because maybe I’ve not thought deeply about a particular issue and she has already done a ten-page exposé.

She is the most supportive person. It is such a gift to have her. She comes for the shows, she travels with me, she is with me in the studio, she is with me on designs.

Sometimes, she comes to listen to me at meetings. And she has her own work o! But every free time she gets, she comes to me. She is the most supportive person,” he added.

Since tying the knot in 2022, M.I has frequently credited Eniola with positively impacting both his personal and professional journey, describing her unwavering support as a true blessing.
