Wizkid Dominates Spotify 2025 — See Who Else Made the Top Lists

Nigerian superstar Wizkid has been named the most-streamed artist in the country on Spotify for 2025, according to the platform’s newly released Wrapped report.

The annual list highlights the songs, albums, and artists listeners engaged with the most throughout the year.

In addition to leading the overall artiste ranking, Wizkid’s latest project, Morayo, also dominated the charts as the most-streamed album in Nigeria. Davido followed closely with his album 5ive, which secured the second position.

Davido and Omah Lay’s collaboration, “With You,” emerged as the most-streamed song in the country, while Burna Boy maintained his strong global presence as Nigeria’s most-exported artiste for the year.

Among female acts, Ayra Starr continued her impressive streak by once again topping the list of most-streamed female artists in Nigeria, showing consistency in her growing influence. Other top female acts who made the list include Tems, Smur Lee, Tiwa Savage, and gospel singer Sunmisola Agbebi.

Wizkid’s dominance extends beyond Spotify. His album Morayo earlier secured the No. 1 spot on Apple Music’s Sub-Saharan Africa year-end chart for 2025.
