Nollywood actor and activist, Yomi Fabiyi, has organized a protest at the Lagos State House of Assembly on September 30th, 2024. It will be a call for justice over the late singer Mohbad, while coinciding with the resumption of the coroner’s inquest into his tragic death.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Fabiyi called on Nigerians to join the protest, explaining that such would compel the authorities to recover very key evidence that could link directly with the CCTV footage from Mohbad’s house. Fabiyi, while speaking, said he believed this would unlock the truth behind the singer’s mysterious death.

In the words of Fabiyi: “Those who cut Mohbad’s life short are spending millions to cover up, create distractions, and bury blatant evidence.” He added that the Lagos State government must intervene and set up a committee to secure the CCTV content.

He invited all Lagosians to join him in the peaceful protest to ensure the police take up necessary steps to retrieve this piece of evidence.
