Chelsea defeated Dinamo Zagreb in their final UEFA champions league group game, Chelsea’s new boys, Zakaria and Raheem Sterling scored two goals for Chelsea.

Zakaria who was loaned to Chelsea in August by Juventus registered his very first goal for the club, which gave Chelsea a victory over Dinamo Zagreb.

Despite Zakaria’s fantastic performance in the match, Mason mount was awarded the man of the match, which he does not agree to, as he feels that Zakaria played better and should have been given the man of the Match.

According to Mount, he doesn’t think he deserves the man of the match award,  as Zakaria played unbelievably well in the game, considering that he also scored the winning goal he should have been given the award.

He further praised Zakaria for giving his very best to the game, and he’s happy that Zakaria got the opportunity to display his skills.

“The lads have been battering me the last couple of games I’ve got man of the match as they don’t think I deserved it, but today I don’t think I deserve it. Denis Zakaria came in and was unbelievable. He deserves the man of the match more than me, and he scored as well,” Mount said.

“To step up after not playing, and starting the game, was brilliant. I’m very happy for him to get this opportunity and to do so well,” Mount continued in praises of his Swiss teammate

Speaking About Raheem Sterling’s performance, Mount thinks that Raheem played well also, even though Raheem doesn’t score regularly he puts his best into every one of their games

It’s brilliant for Raz, he took his goal very well, very happy for him.”

“He doesn’t think about how many games he goes without scoring. He’s so focused on helping the team and getting in the right positions, and it will come for him, we know how good he is,” Mount concluded.

Raheem Sterling has been criticized lately, for not registering a goal, but no one sees how passionate he is about football
