Meanwhile, the Mississippi State emergency management agency has put the current death toll at 25, asserting that dozens more were injured.
The state is additionally girding for more turbulent weather on Sunday, March 26, including expecting damaging winds and hail, with the state’s emergency management agency warning that tornadoes are not exempted.
The U.S. President, Joe Biden has released a statement, calling the images from Mississippi heartbreaking and promising to put federal resources at the state’s disposal to use.
