Three people have been confirmed dead and 14 others were injured on Wednesday, October 19, in a car accident involving a Mazda bus on the Third Mainland Bridge, in Adeniji-Oshodi, Lagos.
The unfortunate incident occurred at about 6.45 pm, at the Adekunle axis of the Bridge.
The casualties had been the bus driver and two other occupants in the front seats.
The Nigeria Police, the Lagos Ambulance Services, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, and LASTMA, had been on ground to carry out the rescue operations and control the traffic brought on by the accident.
The emergency responders waited for the State Environmental Health and Monitoring Unit, -SHEMU, to evacuate the bodies.
