In a continuation of their sustained inter-rivalry clash, the fighters of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, have recently attacked a convoy of Boko Haram, during which about 30 individuals were killed.
The counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, disclosed them in a series of tweets on Monday, 02 January.
Recall that the rival groups had been attacking communities in the Northeast region ever since both camps fell apart over leadership issues.
The groups had been having clashes, and Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram, had reportedly been killed during one of such clashes back in 2021.
Meanwhile, the recent inter-rivalry clash happened in the Chillaria axis in Abadam, a border community with Niger.
