Controversial rapper 50 Cent has finally weighed in on the very serious rape and sex trafficking allegations facing longtime rival Sean “Diddy” Combs. Diddy, accused in multiple sexual assault lawsuits, the most serious of which accuses him of raping a 13-year-old girl was recently taken into custody by federal agents at a Manhattan hotel after being indicted by a grand jury.
In a new, exclusive interview with People, 50 Cent addressed the disturbing charges, saying, “It seems like I’m doing outrageous things, but I’m really just saying what I’ve been saying for years. This situation with Diddy is just now getting exposed, but I’ve stayed away from that kind of stuff because it’s not my style”.
The feud between the two escalated in 2006 when 50 Cent released the diss track The Bomb, accusing Diddy of being responsible for Biggie Smalls’ murder in 1997, which furthered tensions between the two.
The case of Diddy continues to unravel, and with it, 50 Cent is making sure that the world recognizes he has kept his distance from any controversy regarding his old cohort. It’s this latest provocation that solidifies their turbulent times.
