The family of Nigerian singer Patoranking, is mourning the tragic death of his sister, Chioma, and her husband, George Onuabuchi, in an explosion in their house.
The couple had just celebrated their housewarming this August 2023. However, just one day after the joyous occasion, which was their son’s birthday, the explosion occurred. Chioma passed away on August 31st, while George gave in to his injuries on September 11th.
A Christian wake for the couple was held on Friday, November 22, while their burial took place on Saturday, November 23, in Ebonyi State.
This tragedy has indeed been a painful blow to Patoranking and his family. The singer, who gifted the couple a car on their wedding day in 2021, has remained silent on social media since August 20, 2024. Condolences and prayers have flooded social media from fans and well-wishers to the grieving family.
The loss of Chioma and George is a heartbreaking reminder of life’s unpredictability. May their souls rest in peace.
