PSG reach the UCL final as they beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Parc des Princes for a 3-1 aggregate victory. PSG, aiming for their first UCL title, became the third French club to reach the final of Europe’s most prestigious club competition multiple times alongside Stade de Reims and Marseille.

Saka could have denied PSG the chance at a historic title after his side outfought a 1-0 first-leg deficit however they were thwarted by Gianluigi Donnarumma on numerous occasions including wanting to follow up analysis of an impressive save against Martinelli early on, before stopping Odegaard.

So, it’s no surprise PSG and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia replied through a curling left-footed strike that struck the post, before signing Marco Ruiz popped the ball-up with a right-footed volley after Thomas Partey’s poor piece of defending.

After the break, Arsenal could have equalised quickly through Saka but once again saw his effort stopped by Donnarumma. Arsenal does have the luck to see David Raya stop Vitinha’s penalty kick after Lewis-Skelly was controversially called for a handball, but not long after, they were punished by a third PSG goal after Achraf Hakimi finished clinically.

In the end, Arsenal pieced a bit of back together through Leandro Trossard providing a goal for Saka, however the winger when called to level the score did not hit the target. PSG deservedly held onto the win to advance to the final, and Arsenal will be feeling a sense of European heartbreak as they suffer yet another exit at the knockout stages with a 6th exit after losing the first leg at home.
