Controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has unveiled a fresh interview with Dominica, a close female friend of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The video, which forms part of VeryDarkMan’s ongoing probe into the mysterious death of the ex-Marlian Records signee, features Dominica recounting incidents that allegedly took place during a raid by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

According to her, both she and Mohbad were arrested during the operation, which she claimed occurred at the Marlian house. She alleged that Mohbad was physically assaulted by the operatives.

“They hit him on the head several times before taking him to their office,” she said, adding that he was released the same day due to a scheduled performance in Dubai.

Dominica also claimed that Mohbad’s partner, Wunmi, was beaten during the raid but managed to escape.

Identifying herself as the girlfriend of one of Mohbad’s close associates at the time, she said she was detained at the NDLEA facility for several days. She noted that her recording of events was cut short because her data was exhausted.

Speaking on Mohbad’s private life, Dominica revealed that the singer occasionally used drugs and consumed alcohol, saying it affected his behaviour.

“He once told me he needed to get high to perform better in the studio,” she claimed, further alleging that Bella Shmurda introduced him to drugs.

She added that she once overheard Wunmi expressing concern over Mohbad’s condition to both his father and Naira Marley, indicating worries about his mental and physical wellbeing.
