Donald Trump has vowed to sue The Wall Street Journal after a report linked him to a raunchy letter allegedly written to Jeffrey Epstein. The former president described the publication as “a pile of garbage” and promised to drag Rupert Murdoch into court over what he called a “fake” story.

Trump Threatens Lawsuit Over Epstein Letter Report During Uproar

The report claimed Trump sent Epstein a handwritten letter in 2003, featuring a naked woman sketch and a cryptic note referring to their “secret.” According to the Journal, the letter was part of a birthday album filled with greetings from celebrities.

Trump denied the allegation in multiple posts on Truth Social. “It’s not my language. It’s not my words,” he wrote. He added, “I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women.”

Trump Orders DOJ To Seek Epstein Testimony

Amid the uproar, Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to request the unsealing of Epstein case testimony. The Justice Department will ask a court to release grand jury details, hoping to calm growing anger among Trump’s supporters demanding answers.

Bondi’s July memo had declared there was “no Epstein client list,” but that has not silenced speculation. For many in Trump’s MAGA base, the Epstein scandal remains a political landmine.

Journal Report Fuels Fresh Controversy

The Wall Street Journal article triggered a storm, suggesting Trump and Epstein shared a “secret” and an interest in women. It alleged the letter ended with, “Happy Birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump dismissed the report as a “scam” and threatened legal action against Rupert Murdoch and the paper’s editor. “I look forward to getting Rupert Murdoch to testify in my lawsuit against him,” Trump wrote.

Trump’s legal threats and his order to unseal Epstein-related documents may not end the controversy. The question remains whether any evidence will support the Wall Street Journal’s claim or if Trump can shift the narrative before it spirals out of control.
