Actress and producer Mobimpe Adedimeji has cried out over an alleged case of impersonation and content theft involving a YouTube channel named Mobimpewrite’s Stories.

In a lengthy outburst posted online, Mobimpe accused the owner of the channel of consistently copying her work — from video content to posters and even personal captions — all in a bid to deceive her fans and build a following under false pretence.

“I’m tired. I’m fed up. Someone created a YouTube channel named MOBIMPEWRITE’s STORIES just to copy everything I do. Video for video. Poster for poster. She waits for me to post, then uploads the same thing, tricking people into believing it’s me,” she wrote.

The actress said she has tried to report the page through her team, but the issue persists, and the alleged impersonator appears determined to keep stealing her creative output.

“Yesterday was my mum’s birthday. And this person stole my entire caption, my entire post, and made it hers, like it meant nothing. That’s not inspiration. That’s disrespectful,” she added.

“She’s gaining subscribers, followers, likes, and comments, growing off my hard work and deceiving people who think it’s me. And the painful part? Some of you don’t even know it’s not me!”

Mobimpe, who runs the YouTube platform Mobimpe TV, said the situation has left her mentally exhausted and that she is determined to take legal and technical steps to stop the impersonation.

“I have a team. We’ve tried to report this page, but it seems this person is determined to keep stealing my work, my sweat, my ideas, my creativity.

“I’m mentally exhausted. Imagine pouring your heart into your work only for someone else to keep stealing it and smiling. I don’t talk much, but today, I need to speak out. And she’s NOT THE ONLY ONE, but today, I’m starting with her!”

Mobimpe then addressed the impersonator directly:

“To the person behind that page, I know you’re here. I know you’re seeing this.

Just know that you will not go scot-free. What you’re doing is deeply wrong.

You’re impersonating me and deceiving people—and one thing I can assure you is this: you will be caught. Soon.”

She urged her fans to report the channel to YouTube and asked for help from anyone who could provide legal or technical solutions.

“Please fam, go on YouTube for me and report this page: Mobimpewrite’s Stories. Mass report it until it’s taken down. Let YouTube know she’s impersonating me and stealing my work.

“If you know ANY solid way to bring these channels down legally, technically, any method at all, please drop a comment or send a DM. I’d deeply appreciate it. What this person is doing is extremely risky, too risky!!!

“Enough of this silence. Enough of people building platforms by tearing others down! I built MOBIMPE TV with tears, passion, and consistency, and I won’t let someone else ruin that or hijack what I’ve poured my heart and soul into. Thank y’all.”
