Popular Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed her love for her country, saying she would still choose to be Nigerian in her next life.
Cuppy made the statement on Wednesday while celebrating Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
In an Instagram post, the music star lauded Nigerians for their resilience and unwavering spirit.
She highlighted the nation’s ability to find joy even during challenging times and celebrated the strength of its people.
“My home, my country Nigeria is 65 today. Through it all, our people keep pushing, persevering, and finding joy even in the toughest times.
God did not rush when He made us. He gave us resilience, spirit, and endless energy. In my next life, I’d still choose to be Nigerian,” Cuppy wrote.
