Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has addressed claims suggesting she sabotages other female artists in the music industry, firmly denying any involvement.
Speaking candidly on the Offair Show, Savage challenged anyone making such accusations to provide concrete names and evidence.
The controversy dates back several years, when Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani accused the Nigerian star of indirectly preventing her from performing at certain shows.
Tiwa Savage, however, dismissed the allegations, insisting she has never interfered with the careers or opportunities of other female artists. She hinted that some show promoters might be falsely implicating her.
“If you’ve heard from anybody that I tried to block your bag, mention names. Maybe the promoters are lying and using me, maybe they don’t want to book three, four girls. So, they claim I am the one blocking others,” she explained.
Savage’s response comes as part of a broader effort to address recurring rumors about her alleged influence over other artists’ bookings and opportunities. She emphasized the importance of verifying claims before attributing blame, signaling a desire for transparency in the industry.
