World Cup 2026: Every Qualified Team Listed as the Tournament Lineup Takes Shape
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

After the October International break, the first thing to check is the world and the countries that have already qualified for the World Cup.

On Tuesday, six nations were the main actors in achieving that goal of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and thus they made the first steps in the file of 19 other nations that had already achieved the qualification ticket for the expanded 48-team global tournament that will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States next summer.

From one confederation to another, the last qualifying rounds made the first European country the one who on Tuesday sealed the ticket, and therefore the officials of the different unions are already working on their next squads. Old champions and five-time record holders Argentina and Brazil were the ones who had already qualified along with several other countries from Asia, Africa, and the Americas until Tuesday.

Which Nations Have Qualified For The 2026 FIFA World Cup

So far 29 teams have qualified for the World Cup, while 20 places will be decided by the rest of the qualifiers and the play-offs between confederations to be held in early 2026. Some of those newly qualified teams are the first-time World cup participants: Jordan and Uzbekistan and the men’s football World Cup is the first time for Cape Verde, too.

Australia, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Jordan, and Uzbekistan will be the representatives of Asia (AFC).

Africa (CAF) will have Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, and Cape Verde in the tournament.

CONMEBOL teams such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Uruguay are the ones who have all made it to the next round.

The only representative from Oceania, New Zealand, is going to be a part of the tournament again, and the hosts Canada, Mexico, and the United States will be flying the CONCACAF flag.

England was the first country in Europe (UEFA) to officially get their pass.

The FIFA World Cup draw is scheduled for December, and the excitement is growing as to which teams will fill the last 20 spots that are still unknown — some will not even be determined until March 2026 when the inter-confederation play-offs are held.
