Nollywood actress and producer Blessing Obasi Nze has spoken candidly about the financial structure in her marriage to fellow actor Stan Nze, revealing that their union is built on shared responsibility rather than fixed financial ratios.

In an interview with Ife, Blessing explained that she and her husband approach money matters with trust and teamwork, with both partners taking responsibility for household expenses as the need arises.

According to her, neither of them keeps score over who pays more. Instead, they contribute their best and simply ensure that things get done.

She added that they often exchange receipts after making payments to maintain proper records and accountability.

The actress discouraged couples from adopting rigid financial formulas in marriage, noting that such arrangements can make a relationship feel overly formal and transactional.

“It’s 100/100. There is no 50/50 with me and my partner. We just do things equally and sometimes he does it and just sends the receipt to me, and I do likewise. I bring mine, he brings his. Our goal is to make it work. I can’t be doing 50/50 or 70/30 because it’s like office work already,” she said.

Blessing stressed that their marriage thrives on partnership, with both she and Stan stepping in to support each other whenever necessary.

The actress, who tied the knot with Stan Nze in September 2021, welcomed their first child in October 2023. She believes their flexible and cooperative approach to finances has played a key role in sustaining a healthy and balanced marriage.
