Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reacted strongly after an awkward encounter with colleague Funke Akindele at a recent movie premiere.
The incident occurred during the premiere of a film by Iyabo Ojo on Sunday night, where Abraham approached Akindele to exchange greetings. According to reports, Toyin made an effort to get her attention, even tapping her while addressing her respectfully.
“Aunty Funke, good evening ma.”

However, Akindele reportedly did not respond and instead looked away, ignoring the greeting despite the repeated attempt. The moment left Abraham visibly uncomfortable, prompting her to quietly walk away.
The video of the incident quickly went viral, triggering widespread reactions online, with many social media users criticising what they described as unfriendly behaviour.
Responding to the situation in a now-deleted comment on Instagram, Abraham revealed she has taken a firm stance following the incident.
“I have unfollowed her, God forbid bad things. If I ever greet her again that means I’m a bastard.”
Her reaction has further fueled conversations online, as fans continue to weigh in on the growing tension between the two actresses.
