Nigerian social media personality Bobrisky has weighed in on the ongoing drama between Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham, urging fans to avoid taking sides.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Bobrisky advised supporters to remain neutral, noting that outsiders may not fully understand what led to the disagreement between the two actresses.
“I know many of you are fans, and everyone has their favourites. But when you see one of your favourites having issues with another, don’t rush to support one side. Stay neutral—you don’t know what really happened behind the scenes.
That industry? I don’t have friends there. I may have a few sisters, like Mercy Aigbe and Omoborty, but you will never see me going to their parties or events like that, because the industry is too fake”.
The reaction follows a viral moment at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere, where Funke Akindele was seen at the same table with Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe when Toyin Abraham approached to greet her.
In the trending clip, Funke appeared to ignore Toyin’s greeting, which sparked widespread reactions and debate across social media.
The incident has since fueled online conversations, with fans divided over the behaviour of both actresses and the broader dynamics within the Nollywood industry.
