There are reports that Chelsea is considering signing Wesley Fofana, a Leicester City defender, as they are still on the lookout for an addition to the team after the exit of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
After purchasing Senegalese player Kalidou Koulibay for €34 million, all their efforts to get another defender have proved abortive, their deal to get Jules Kounde did not pull through, as it seems Kounde might join Spanish giants Barcelona. Bayern Munich frustrated their plans of getting Matthijs del ligt from Juventus, the same thing happened with Manchester City Nathan Ake.
Fofana has been a fantastic player since he joined Leicester City in 2020, the brilliant player won the foxes young player of the year award. His contract with Leicester City is set to expire in 2027 which gives Leicester City a strong hold over the player.
