The burial of late popular Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh will take place today, Friday 26 August at her family house in her hometown Ogobia, Otupko Local Government Area of Benue state. The burial ceremony had been slated to start around 11:00 am.
Ada died on Sunday 17 July, in Warri, Delta state, but the cause of the death hasn’t been confirmed. The death of the veteran, funny actress shocked many fans as this had happened just two years after she had lost her only child Aladi Godgift Ameh in October 2020.
Before the actress’s death, she had openly shared her struggles with her mental health challenges where she explained the death of her only child in 2020 had increased her mental health trauma. Ada had before losing her only child and daughter, lost three of her brothers and three of her sisters, plus her father to death.
The 48 years old actress Ada Ameh started her acting career 27 years ago in Nollywood.
She had starred in a lot of many Nollywood movies, dramas, and TV series, and her character Emuakpor Johnson for the award-winning, successful Nigeria television series ‘The Johnsons,’ was also a factor in boosting her fame.
