Many fans have been questioning Ten Hag’s refusal to start Casemiro in matches since he transferred from Real Madrid. Initially, Ten Hag said that it was because he wants Casemiro to get used to his style of football. Several United players were upset after Man City thrashed United 6-3 in the premier league game on Sunday, and they blamed it on the fact that Ten Hag refused to start Casemiro in the game knowing how serious the game was.

Considering how much they spent in bringing Casemiro into the team, you’ll think that they wouldn’t waste any time in putting him in Manchester United XI.

United are to Clash with Omonia in their third group E game on Thursday in the Europa League, speaking ahead of the match, he said that he will play with his best team, knowing how competitive the game is, they’ll be in their best

When asked about Casemiro, he replied that their losses had nothing to do with Casemiro, he further assured everyone that, Casemiro has a major role in the team, considering his achievements and his performance in training

“We will play tomorrow our best team, we have to construct a team because we want a competitive culture,” Ten Hag said.“It had nothing to do with Casemiro, it had all to do with Scott [McTominay]. When he wasn’t in the team at Brentford, we lost.

“Casemiro will have an important role, we know his background, the titles he’s won, you see every day in training.”
