The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has fixed Saturday, April 15, 202,3 for the supplementary election in Port Harcourt II and Khana/Gokana federal constituencies.
The State INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Johnson Sinikiem, announced this via a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, April 11.
While admitting that the election would begin by 8:30 am in the LGAs and Registration Areas, Sinikiem also revealed that the election would be held in Khana Wards 04 and 07, across 42 polling units; and in Port Harcourt, the election would be held in 377 polling units within Wards 05, 10 and 28 respectively.
Therefore all registered voters in the affected registration areas/polling units should endeavor to come out en masse on the above-mentioned date to cast their votes and to conduct themselves peacefully.
