On Wednesday a video emerged showing how a seven-story building in Banana Island, collapsed. This has raised many concerns as buildings keep collapsing in Lagos State.
On Thursday, some journalists went to Banana Island to cover the site of the Collapsed building, but they were denied access to enter into the estate.
Some of the journalists have been waiting for hours to be given access to the site.
According to the task force, the reason they prevented journalists from entering is to prevent the breakdown of law and order, Banana island is home to Nigeria’s finest and richest citizens, if care is not taken, hoodlums might use that opportunity to enter and CA sees chaos.
