Robyn Rihanna Fenty, otherwise known by her stage name, Rihanna, had recently broken the internet, with the announcement of her newest beauty franchise yet: FENTY HAIR and left a lot more than a few fans confused on what the new launch was all about.
Some fans had argued that the business mogul was about to launch a wig line while others were convinced that it would be a haircare line.

What Is FENTY HAIR All About?
The brand which just launched today, June 13, 2024 is a haircare line tailored for all types meaning that just about anybody can use it regardless of race. In a video Rihanna posted to her verified social media accounts, she explained that she had partnered with “the best (hair) stylist and chemist” in the beauty industry to manufacture a product lineup for curly, wavy and straight hair of all types, length and textures.
At present, only hair care products have been launched but according to the trademark the award-winning singer filed in 2022, the hair care will eventually roll out other products including hair clips, wigs, extensions, brushes, curlers and more.
The FENTY HAIR Products
FENTY HAIR currently consists of a nine-piece product line that includes a repair treatment cream, a moisture repair shampoo, two conditioners, four stylers —all of which contain Replenicore-5 — and an edge styling brush.
Some of the ingredients used to make these products are green tea extract, Barbados gooseberry, hydrolysed vegetable protein and upcycled jackfruit extract which all work to repair split ends, strengthen hair strands and prevent future breakage.
As of now, there has been no mention of wigs which are sure to be included in the FENTY HAIR launch lineup in the future launches.
FENTY HAIR’s Packaging
Rihanna’s FENTY HAIR packaging uses unique pastel colors including blue, pink, green, peach and purple, which is sure to draw the consumer’s eye immediately they see it lined up on a shelf
Another feature on the packaging I’m loving is the textured tops that I’ve heard provide a non-slip grip even with wet hands. Alternatively, it acts as a sensory tip for when your eyes are covered with soap suds.
Where To Purchase FENTY HAIR
According to the information on the FENTY BEAUTY website, you can only purchase this newly launched product via the website only. The Instagram shop also automatically redirects you to the website to make a purchase.
Since the product just launched, it is not available on physical stores yet.
The price may vary according to location (the Dollar to Naira conversion is crazy) but if you can afford to cough out the cash, will you be buying?
