South Korean actor Song Jae Rim, popularly known from The Moon Embracing the Sun, died at 39 years old. The actor was found dead in his apartment in Seoul on November 12. Though the cause of death is not yet known, his fans and friends worldwide are truly devastated upon knowing his untimely death.
Song Jae Rim’s career spanned a decade, starting with his appearance in the 2009 film Actresses. He gained quick popularity with his distinctive character portrayals and a strong fan base, for one, the faithful bodyguard in The Moon Embracing the Sun. Throughout the years, he has stared in a variety of K-dramas such as Two Weeks, Secret Mother, and even more recently, My Military Valentine.

Prepared by his family, a memorial space has been opened at Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall, where people close to him gather and hold the remembrance ceremony of his life.
