AC Milan have apparently spoken with the manager of the USMNT, Mauricio Pochettino, about the available job for next season.
The Italian giants are thought to have met with the Argentina boss last week before the USMNT started their World Cup camp in Georgia. The former Spurs coach has been linked with the job, following the sacking of Massimiliano Allegri on Wednesday.
AC Milan are in the middle of a rebuild, having again missed out on the Champions League for the second year running. Not only has Massimiliano Allegri been sacked earlier this week, but Sporting Director Igli Tare, Chief Executive Officer Giorgio Furlani and Technical Director Geoffrey Moncada have all been relieved of their duties with the Milan club looking to build from the ground up.

The USMNT boss has been in place since September 2024, after leaving Chelsea for the US, and is tied down to the US Soccer Federation until the end of the World Cup in 2026, but, as has been admitted by Pochettino himself, he could extend the deal if both are willing to do so after the tournament is finished.
Pochettino could link back up with the US captain Christian Pulisic should he be appointed. Midfielder Yunus Musah is still tied down to the Milan club, having spent last year on loan at Atalanta.
Former Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola is another manager rumored to be in line for the managerial role.
