Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, have officially been appointed as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria.
The church announced the induction on Facebook Tuesday, describing the honour as a recognition of their dedication to the holistic growth and development of young people within RCCG and globally.
The post read, “Our Father-in-the-Lord and Mother-in-Israel, #pastoreaadeboyeofficial and #pastorfoluadeboye, were inducted as the Patron and Patroness General of the Boys Brigade Nigeria and Girls Brigade Nigeria.
“The decoration is a testament to their commitment to the all-around growth and development of young individuals in RCCG and around the world. Glory be to God.”
The Boys and Girls Brigade, both Christian youth organisations with strong historical ties to Nigeria, are recognised for their focus on discipline, service to God, and fostering godly character in young people.
The leadership of these organisations often includes patrons who serve as spiritual mentors and exemplary figures for thousands of young individuals.
