British singer Adele has revealed she is stepping away from music to explore different creative ventures. After residing in the United States for the past two years, she plans to return to the UK once her residency ends in November.
Adele advised fans not to anticipate new music for a while, emphasizing her desire for a significant break. “I don’t have plans for new music at all. I want a big break, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while,” she said in an interview with German broadcaster ZDF.
The 16-time Grammy winner’s most recent album, “30,” released in 2021, earned the British Album of the Year award at the 2022 Brit Awards. Adele’s decision comes after a highly successful yet demanding period in her career, marked by sold-out tours and critical acclaim. Her move back to London signifies a return to her roots, as she seeks inspiration and balance away from the relentless pace of the music industry.
