Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has opened up about a life-threatening health scare she faced in June while in the United Kingdom with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.
In an emotional Instagram post, Adesua revealed that she underwent an emergency surgery, an experience she described as both terrifying and transformative.
“I could have lost my life in June,” she wrote. “What I went through was horrific and ended with an unplanned surgery and strangely, the surgery itself was the least dramatic part of it all.”
The actress explained that the incident occurred while she was in the UK for two speaking engagements. She credited divine intervention for her survival, reflecting on how perfectly events aligned to save her life.
“If even one single detail had been different, I wouldn’t be here today. When I think about it, I shudder,” she added.
