The African Bar Association, AfBA, has condemned the recent harsh attack on African Migrants in Tunisia caused by racial and xenophobic remarks made by President Kais Saied.

AfBA, an Association of National Bar Associations across Africa made the condemnation in a statement issued on Tuesday, March 14 by its Director of Strategic Communications, Douglas Ogbankwa.

The statement titled: “The African Bar Association Condemns Tunisian Xenophobic and Racial Attacks on African Migrants; Ask the African Union to Call the Tunisian President- Kais Saied and Government to Order,” had seen AfBA remarking that the bout of attacks negates the Treaty of the African Union.
