The Airline Operations of Nigeria (AON) has stated in a reliable announcement launched on the sixth of May, 2022, that they would be shutting down domestic airways operation from Monday ninth of May 2022.
The operator stated that in the last 4 months they have tried to subsidize their services despite the immoderate rate of aviation fuel which inflated from a hundred and ninety naira to seven-hundred naira per liter and they cannot keep up with the rising price of aviation fuel.
The Operations have decided to discontinue operations nationwide from Monday ninth of May, 2022 until further notice.
