Amotekun Arrests 45 Suspected Criminals in Ondo state.

45 criminals, were arrested by the Ondo state security network agency, commonly known as Amotekun. According to Amotekun Operatives, they were arrested for various crimes, such as armed robbery, kidnapping, and others.

Adetunji Adeyeye, the commander of the Corps in the state, has assured the public that they will not stop in their efforts to make ondo state a crime-free state.

According to him, the alleged criminals normally make use of voodoo to steal personal items of unsuspecting citizens, and some of them even kill motorcycle owners just to steal their bikes, another group focuses on kidnapping people and demanding ransom. 

 He said,” The six kidnap syndicate among the suspects use spiritual means to hypnotize people they carry on their motorcycle to an unknown destination.”

“I have a case of one of them that specializes in killing motorcycle riders and taking over the motorcycle, dismantling and sending out of the state. We tracked him to Ore in Odigbo and we arrested his accomplice and the ring leader escaped to Ogun State.  We contacted the Amotekun in Ogun State who assisted us in apprehending him.”

“We also have another group that specializes in kidnapping. They kidnapped a lady in Ore but we were able to get the victim out alive without ransom and we were able to apprehend the suspected kidnappers.”

Adeyeye has promised that the suspects will be arraigned in court after investigations are done. He further assured the residents, that all security agencies in the state are on the lookout for “undesirable elements” emphasizing that they are ready to fish them out of their holes.
