The Anambra State Ministry of Women and Social Welfare has proclaimed Mrs Adachukwu Okafor, the infamous lawyer who brutalised her house-help wanted.
Okafor is being accused of repeatedly abusing her teenage house help, including burning her buttocks with a hot pressing iron and inserting a hot rod into her private part.
A video of her rescued help had trended on social media recently, showing the young girl with scalded body in a hospital bed, unable to walk.
The young girl was saved by some perturbed individuals after they noticed her body was covered in injuries.
The lawyer had been quoted to have tongue-lashed the neighbours, including bragging that no one would be able to arrest her for trying to enforce discipline in her home.
But she had gone missing and likely disappeared after the video got to the knowledge of the Anambra State government, who were actively seeking to arrest her.
The commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Hon. Ify Obinabo had in a press release signed on Monday said:
“Adachukwu Okafor currently stands accused of using knives and other sharp objects to administer injuries on her 11-year-old housekeeper.
Anyone who can give information leading to the arrest of Adachukwu Okafor will be greatly rewarded.”
