An All Progressive Congress, APC, Chieftain Dr Haruna Gololo, has Enjoined the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to probe the immediate ex-Minister of Aviation following the unpleasant findings and reports in the aftermath of the purported launch of Nigeria Air aircraft.
Gololo had made the request while speaking at a news conference in FCT Abuja on Tuesday, June 6, in reaction to the revelations by the Acting Managing Director of Nigeria Air, Capt Dapo Olumide, during the hearing of the investigations of the Senate Committee on Aviation regarding the state of the Nigeria Air scheme.
Meanwhile, Olumide had revealed at the investigative hearing that the purported Nigeria Air aircraft that flew in with the logo of Nigeria Air was authorized from Ethiopian Airlines for the sole purpose of divulging the logo.
Additionally, Olumide disclosed to the Senate committee that the Ethiopian aircraft was used until the completion of the undertakings required for the operation of the Nigerian airline.
Regardless of Olumide’s excuses, Gololo had given the crimes commission two weeks to arrest and probe the ex-Minister of Aviation and other principle participants in the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
