The Police Service Commission’s selection of Naja’atu Bala Muhammad as the Northwest Coordinator of police affairs for the elections on February 25 and March 11 has been resisted by the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Committee (APC PCC) (PSC).
She was given the responsibility of serving as a coordinator to oversee how police officers behaved during the general election.
Festus Keyamo (SAN), the campaign council’s spokesperson and director of public affairs, urged Naja’atu’s immediate withdrawal in a statement released yesterday in Abuja.
As Director of Civil Society Organizations for the APC campaign council, Naja’atu Bala Muhammad resigned after stating that she was unable to continue to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate.
