In yesterday’s match, Southampton defeated Leicester City at the king’s power Stadium. Aribo, Ndidi, and Iheanacho were all featured in the match. Ndidi featured for 90minutes, Iheanacho was introduced in the match at the 76minute and Aribo came in at two minutes to the end of the match.
James Madison scored the first goal for Leicester City in the second half, and Che Adams equalized for Southampton making it 1-1, Adams again scored for Southampton six minutes to the end of the match making it 2-1. The loss of the match, takes Leicester City to the 18th position in the premier league table, while Southampton moves to the 12th position.
This is Southampton’s first win as they lost their first match and the second match ended in a draw. Aribo will definitely be happy with his club’s win, as Aribo has been fantastic since his transfer from the Rangers. If we can recall, Aribo scored in the match between Southampton and Leeds United.
