Mike Arteta, Arsenal’s manager has reiterated that the club is open to more signings, before the close of the transfer market next month. Arsenal has been signing new players and retaining old useful ones to do well in the EPL. At current they’ve made five new signings.

According to Arteta, the fact that they are at the top of the EPL table doesn’t affect their plans to sign in more players, as they need more talents to strengthen the squad.

Report has it that Arsenal is interested in Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta and Youri Tielemans from Leicester City.

“it doesn’t change. We know as well where we are short, where we have to add more firepower. And if we can do it, we will do it,” the Spaniard told reporters.

“We will try to the end, the transfer window is tricky at the moment. We would like to do something else but let’s see what we can do”

Currently, Arsenal is at the top of the premier league table, they’ve been fantastic in all their matches, this is the first time since 2004 that they’ve won 100% of their three-game fixtures
