The third spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign has been named. Atiku is the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate. As the party prepares for elections, he appointed Charles Aniagwu, the commissioner for information for Delta State, to fill the position. The appointment of Mr. Aniagwu is effective right away, according to a statement made by his media adviser Paul Ibe.
He clarified that Mr. Aniagwu will be in charge of informing the electorates about the presidential campaign’s operations. The selection follows Atiku’s selection of former senator Dino Melaye and former APC chairman Daniel Bwala as his campaign spokespersons for the presidency. Mr. Aniagwu is a seasoned broadcaster with more than 20 years of professional expertise. He joins other appointees who had been named earlier as campaign spokespersons, according to a release.
Like other parties, the PDP is getting ready for the campaigns, which get underway on September 28. The National Working Committee (NWC) of the party will convene an important meeting on Thursday to discuss the present party crisis as well as a campaign strategy
