Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Barcelona’s forward was a victim of a robbery incident, which took place in his own home today.
According to reports, four armed men stormed and invaded his residence, beat him and his wife to gain access to their safe, to steal pieces of jewelry. Both Auba and his wife sustained minor injuries.
The alarming thing about this incident is that this is the second time, such an act would be perpetrated in his house in Castelldefels, just within two months, as the first time they invaded his apartment he and his family were not home.
The issue of top players being robbed has become a common incident. December last year, Joae Cancelo, a Man City defender was robbed and assaulted in his house in England. Nicolas Otamend, Benfica was also assaulted in his house in Portugal. Early this month Lewandowski was robbed in daylight.
Aubameyang is yet to release a statement concerning the issue.
