In a recent tweet by Azman Air’s official Twitter account, they have addressed the public on the employment status of Capt Jamil Abubakar.

They made it a public notice that he has not been an employee with them since the 22nd of December, 2019 and that was the last time he flew with them, dropping his resignation afterward.

They refused to take responsibility for the comment or views of their former staff.

Capt Jamil Abubakar, who is also Dangote’s son-in-law, had in an earlier tweet justified the killing of Sokoto girl, Deborah Samuel. He had said that the penalty for Blasphemy is death.

He had however deleted his tweet and come out to refute his statement with a letter from his lawyer saying his tweet in no way implies support for the murder of the Sokoto Christian girl.

He also said he would not support any organization that supports jungle justice or any conduct that does not promote the rule of law.
