Rapper Playboi Carti has received congratulations from former US President Barack Obama on the success of his new album, “I Am Music.”
According to Obama, he and his spouse, Michelle, are huge admirers of the record. He also mentioned that his wife dances to “TRIM” every morning.
Through his Instagram account, Carti posted a screenshot of the message he got from the former president.
Obama wrote, “Playboi! Loving the album, congratulations.
“Michelle dances to TRIM every morning, we’re big fans.”
Playboi Carti has come under fire from controversial US rapper Kanye West for including Kendrick Lamar on his latest album, “I Am Music.”
According to West, Lamar wasn’t necessary for the record.
Reacting via his Instagram story, Carti simply wrote, “Ye [Kanye West] STFU [shut the f*ck up].”
