The Bauchi State Local Government Service Commission has announced that it recently dismissed six traditional rulers, relieving them of their appointments for reported involvement in partisan politics.
Nasiru Ibrahim Dewu, the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Commission, who made the revelation in a statement on Friday, had revealed that the dismissed traditional rulers were from the Bauchi and Katagum Emirates of the state.

Umar Omar, the Village Head of Tafiya, and Umar Bani, the Village Head of Tarmasawa.
The affected traditional rulers from Bauchi Emirate include: Bello Sulaiman, the Village Head of Beni, and Yusuf Aliyu Badara, the Village Head of Badara.
