The latest twist on the popular Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) Season 9 reality show has unfolded in the most dramatic fashion as the show organizers disqualified a female contestant known as Kingprisca only a few hours to the start of the show. This has caused uproar among fans and it is hard to find anyone who has not come across it on social media platforms.
Kingprisca who had been so excited all day in preparation for BBNaija, posted a message on TikTok stating that the show managers expelled her from the show for violating some of the rules of engagement highlighted in BBNaija constitution. The particular rule she was caught flagrantly violating remains the rule against self-disclosure at the wrong time. The official notice read:
“Dear Kingprisca, Please be advised that you have been disqualified from the Big Brother Nigeria house, effective immediately, due to violating the rules and regulations outlined in Section 6, Chapter 2 of the show’s constitution. Specifically, you have breached the rule prohibiting self-revelation before the designated date. As a result, you are required to vacate the premises within 24 hours.”
Kingprisca defended herself saying that her mobile phone was hacked and she was not aware of the violation of the rules which led to her dismissal. She threatened to go Live on TikTok to explain what exactly happened so that she could be cleared of any wrongdoing and bring to light the events that led to the disqualification.
The disqualification news came as a big blow to Kingprisca fans, who have been patiently waiting for her to grace the BBNaija Season 9 show. In fact, only a few hours prior to the situation, Kingprisca had been receiving positive messages from her fans, stating their eagerness to see her on the show.
In one of her posts, she wrote: “In less than 24 hours your name will go round the world as world best, Our Winner, Make dad proud BBN Season 9 You will see me on Sunday, Girl Everyone is rooting for you, Honey” These are warm messages that are now followed by a rather sad tale that has left many of her followers disappointed.
