First runner up of Big Brother Naija (Lockdown edition), Dorathy Bachor, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.
25-year-old Bachor, who is from Ute-Okpu in Ika North East Local Government Area, met with the governor and his wife at the State House.
She thanked him for his support during her stay at the Big Brother House.
In response, Okowa said that the state government is proud of Bachor as good ambassador; and reaffirmed that the government will continue to support talented Deltans to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
Okowa added that Dorathy displayed leadership traits that distinguished her as a role model for young persons in Delta and beyond.
The governor stated that he wasn’t surprised that Dorathy became the last woman standing out of 10 women among 20 house mates in the competition “because of her exemplary conduct in the Big Brother house, she did not bring any embarrassment to the state”.
Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday morning, Dorathy wrote:
“The best part of my trip home to Delta state after almost 15 years was meeting the first family.
Thank you your excellency for welcoming me into your home, God bless you.
Fun fact is that my state is not called THE BIG HEART for nothing, we stand by our own. I’m forever grateful for the immense support from My People.”
Recently, Dorathy Bachor added another feather to her ‘great sister’ cap as she made her lookalike sibling, Cynthia, a very happy lady.
Cynthia who clocked a year older in May, got a Car as her birthday gift from the Lockdown star.
Taking to her Snapchat account, Dorathy shared video clips that captured the moment her sister took delivery of the lovely Hyundai car.
