Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has publicly confirmed her separation from her husband, Oluseyi, describing him as her “ex-husband and baby daddy” in a touching birthday tribute shared on social media.

In the emotional message, Bayo disclosed that the couple officially parted ways in April 2024 but chose to keep the development private. She explained that they have since focused on peacefully co-parenting their son with mutual respect and maturity.

“Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy. I pray that grace will abound unto you…,” she wrote, offering heartfelt prayers for his peace, progress, and divine blessings.

Bayo expressed her regret to fans who may feel disappointed by the news, acknowledging her initial hopes that the marriage would last. However, she stated that the decision to separate was necessary for her well-being.

She further opened up about the emotional turmoil she endured in silence, revealing that she cried through most nights for 14 months, while maintaining a public image of strength. “While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night… but I gain strength from Christ,” she shared.

Encouraging kindness and empathy, she urged her followers to be considerate, as people often struggle silently.

Biola Bayo and Oluseyi got married on April 27, 2021.
