Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has made a startling claim, alleging that some undisclosed figures in the music industry are threatening his life.
His revelation came after a fan questioned his earlier statement that he wouldn’t spend 15 years in the music industry, despite being just 29 years old. The fan, using the X handle @LfCPraise, replied to his post saying, “I no understand, no kpai o. Abeg.”
Responding, Blaqbonez wrote, “Them say them go kill me, but I don record enough for 3 more albums, no fear, because rap actually hard for some people.”
The rapper’s statement has since caused panic among his followers, with many expressing concern for his safety.
Despite the uproar, Blaqbonez has chosen not to name those allegedly behind the threats.
